As Crash said, they've played poorly and yet are 3rd, so clearly a decent job has done so far. People expecting the squad to fit to Van Gaal's ideas after one season, everyone ticking the box, formations to be fluent etc aren't being overly realistic. Historically it's always been hos second seasons where success has followed as well.

Horrendous stuff by Newcastle, The fact that we are only 10 points off the relegation spots is starting to scare me a bit with Carver in charge who knows what'll happen.

Chelsea and mourinho are frankly ridiculous. To see terry in an anti racist t shirt is such a slap to the face of the kick it out team. And then to complain about decisions when ivanovic has kicked and elbowed his way through the entire premier league. Nonsense

Their fans are priceless! They played 90 mins of anti football, Drogba being
the main culprit, to win the champions league, and then boo Burnley for time wasting!
Matic and Ivanovich are pampered clowns going down in agony, like their leg was,
snapped in half, yet seconds later were up and sprinting full pelt at the guy who
had fouled them. I wish commentators would have the stones to call them out
for it , then tell mourinho what a big baby he is by crying all the time...

Barnes's challenge on Matic was terrible. If Matic was going to retaliate and get a 3 match ban he may should have done it properly for that potential leg breaker.

Rumours Big Sam is leaving West Ham in Summer, one paper suggested Gus Poyet has one eye on the Hammers job. I would give Poyet a piggy back to West Ham and bring Big Sam back to the North East on my back, if we could get that deal done.

No idea why Poyet would be considered. Aside from the run at the back end of last season Sunderland have been in the main, awful, both terms of results and style of football, whilst excuse after excuse is made by Gus - I thought Bradford could have been it for him

Those on Wearside deserve better

West Ham tried to get him at the end of last season according to several rags.

The anti-football comment bugs me, whilst it wasn't pretty, we set out a game plan to win that game and succeeded, had we tried to play "beautiful" football we'd have been hammered 3-0 like United were against Barca in 2011!!

As Crash said, the tackle by Barnes was horrendous and the fact he escaped penalty is disgraceful. We didn't deserve to win so can't complain about the result too much!
