Nate Allen torn ACL (taken out by Ray Ray Armstrong). Derek Carr scans negative but unlikely to play Sunday. No word on Charles Woodson but didn't look good (not sure why he was even in the game at that point anyway). Jelly Ellis also went down with an ankle. Ho hum.

not really sure if the reason we had so many injuries due to fact that we are playing on a baseball field....I think it about time that Mark Davis moves the raiders to a football stadium; Oakland fans are great; but if the city of Oakland does not want to keep the raiders in Oakland, then it time to move to LA....

Yeah, may have to revise my hopes. If I was superstitious I'd
swear they're cursed.
I thought the worst of playing was behind and then BOOM!
there goes the Bengals.

2 wins from the first 3 games is more than I thought the Raiders would get. Managed to hold on against the Browns. Dare I say it is looking better than I thought it would at this early stage in the season.

I'd agree with this. I posted somewhere that I thought we'd be a lot more competitive and we definitely are that. I think we look pretty good on both sides of the ball and possibly just need to get into a mind set where we believe we can win games?

Last night showed we can shoot it out with the best of them.

Seconded. Last night showed that we are not quite there yet. One more draft/FA to fill holes, as well as signing our own FAs (Crabtree has been a pleasant surprise, a perfect foil for Cooper, and Aldon Smith as long as his legal issues are sorted).

Halfway through the season at 4-4, and apart from the first game blowout (which turned out to be a necessary wake-up call) we have been in every game to the end plus a couple of convincing victories. We're on the right track.
