Wasn't the perfect throw but everyone knows that one should be on Welker. If the ball hits you in the hands you are responsible for it as a receiver. I'l admit though Brady missed a wide open Branch on the next throw.

I think we would have done it to be honest, but the 2009 season is kind of a "it never happened" deal for me.

If any team right now on the paper had the chances to go undefeated it would be the 49ers the amount of depth they have is scary.

and brady fault for the dodgy throw?

its one thing to hit the guy with both feet on the ground and then he drops it.

but its completely another when he's at near to or full stretch, and in mid air.

brady had enough time in the pocket and welker had another second before he would of been hit for brady to put that on the money, and properly on the money.

Agreed.

If the Pats could get within 1 game, as recently as 2007, in the free agency and salary cap era, I'm pretty sure someone will eventually go unbeaten again. 19 games is not that many to win in a row.

It may take a long time (who knows 10 years, 50 years 100 years?), but i'm pretty sure that eventually the stars will align and everthing will fall into place for someone, even if the NFL lengthens the regular season.

Well, Brady and Welker will always have the Kentucky Derby...
