Thumbs down NFL Fan Evening In London 16/7/14 Are You Lucky Or Not ?

I got the Unlucky reply - shame but if I was lucky letting me know the day before am unsure if I could just phone up work 2moro and say can I not come in today (I work a late shift). To be honest as keen as I am to go to this one (as there's a Lions player in attendance) really think a little more notice should be given to people.

Reason I applied this time and not to any previous ones is because of a Lions player being involved.

Will keep my eyes open for future events and apply when I am really chomping at the bit to go - like I was this one - otherwise I feel it's my duty to let others apply who may be keener.

Good luck to all of you who got lucky. Shame these events aren't videoed and uploaded to YouTube or somewhere as am sure many of the questions and player talks would be of interest to us fans who didn't get to attend to.

I got the good news in my junk email. Just to confirm how many tickets do we actually have, 1 or 2?

You had the option on the application page for 1 or 2.

They are leaving these things far too late.

As a minimum, they should've had deadline for applications last week; giving people a few days to confirm; and then another round of invites out to those who missed out.

NFL should be more intelligent about this. Try to have a split 50/50 between those who regularly come and so are rewarded with a place; and those who haven't come before.

Leaving it until Monday evening to even give first round confirmations for a wednesday evening event is simply ridiculous for a slick organisation like NFL.

No. When you click on the link to confirm your attendance you have the option to fill in details for one guest too. If you don't need the guest ticket, there's an email address to let them know.

It's all explained in the email.

I never got a form to fill out for a guest, so guess I only applied for one then. I did read the email, but it was implying I got two tickets and to let them know if I can't use it.. but when I accepted the invite I only filled out my details.
