What truly sad news. Seemed like a genuinely nice guy and was very likeable.

RIP big man.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Kevin Cadle.
I first remember him from the 80's as part of British Basketball, then for many years as part of Sky Sports team that covered the NFL. RIP

Completely shocked and upset at this news. It sounds sudden and definitely far, far too young. Like everyone here, I enjoyed many evenings watching the NFL on Sky with Kev hosting the show. Awfully sad news. RIP.

Very sad to hear this. I've not been a Sky viewer for some time but the shows he presented were what really got me into the NFL so I'll forever associate the sport with him.

Loved his way of talking... they'd cut back from the game to the studio "3-point ballgame". And the classic when the Bills f'd it up of "and that's how they do it in Buf-fa-looooo"

RIP big man

It's not been the same since and won't be again. I like Neil Reynolds as the foil with an ex pro or coach as the other panellist.

Very sad news. RIP Kevin Cadle.

Rest in peace Big Kev. Very odd feeling to read this today.

Although I did know he was a Basketball coach first and foremost, I only encountered him as the Sky NFL Anchor, I've just been reading about his success on these Isles with Kingston and the National Teams, looks like he had a big impact there and will be sorely missed and fondly remembered I'm sure.

sad news. he was always full of life and no matter what was thought of his presenting he will be remembered as the face of NFL on sky.

neil reynolds and mike carlsons tributes to him were brilliant and bang-on.

RIP.

Absolutely gutted at this news.
Grew up watching the NFL with Kevin and Nick Halling. Fond memories.
Actually spoke to the guy once and he has always replied to my emails. NFL on Sky has just not been the same since he has left.

RIP Bro.

I too will always remember Cadle first and foremost as a very successful basketball coach in the 80s and 90s. When Channel 4 was first launched they used to show domestic coverage on Monday evenings and Cadle was one of the big characters from that era.

Very sad to hear this news.
