Jim Caldwell's paid the price for being a spectacularly mediocre HC after being fired by Detroit...

Someone needs to point out to these teams how terrible the coaching pool is.

Do you really want a Josh McDaniels re-tread? Or Matt Patricia? Or dragging Gruden out a TV studio?

Sometimes change is good, but sometimes you need to question whether it is actually better than you already have, new isnt always better.

Can't see Bradley leaving Bosa & Co either tbh. Morton is a different story with the Jets offense clouded in uncertainty (don't know much about him though really).
Wasn't Bradley on a 1 year deal and can walk?

John Fox is gone in Chicago.

Nfl.com have put up a list of 22 current assistant coaches who they see as head coaching candidates. Not sure about some of them:

Patriots OC Josh McDaniels
Vikings OC Pat Shurmur
Eagles QB coach John DeFilippo
Chiefs OC Matt Nagy
Patriots DC Matt Patricia
Eagles DC Jim Schwartz
Panthers DC Steve Wilks
Chiefs STC Dave Toub
Eagles OC Frank Reich
Texans DC Mike Vrabel
Saints AHC/TE coach Dan Campbell
Seahawks AHC/OL coach Tom Cable
Steelers OC Todd Haley
Vikings DC George Edwards
Lions DC Teryl Austin
Steelers OL coach Mike Munchak
Seahawks DC Kris Richard
Saints DC Dennis Allen
Eagles STC Dave Fipp
Lions OC Jim Bob Cooter
Bears DC Vic Fangio
Cardinals DC James Bettcher
Buccaneers DC Mike Smith

The thing is, what does anyone know about how good these people are as HCs? Being a good coordinator doesn't make you a good line coach or vice versa. All you can do is take a punt. Mike Tomlin didn't come to be an HC because of years as a stellar DC. But he is an outstanding leader of men, which came through in the interview.

Still no word on Vance Joseph. If he’s fired I think he’s unlucky as let’s be honest his lack of a QB has been the main issues they have looked so bad this year and this falls on Elway not Vance Joseph. Yeah he’s looked a little out of his depth at time but I’m willing to give him another year to find a QB and then judge him.

That list is as about as inspirational as a tin of magnolia paint.

I think he's gone. The D has stepped back massively and the offense looks clueless. The QB situation looks bungled.

Fine, you don't have a franchise guy, but you also looked like you didn't have a plan. It seemed the starter was drawn out a hat each week. A rabbit in the headlights is what it looks like from the outside

Sacking Caldwell is a terrible decision. He is a quality HC who had 3 winning seasons with a historically losing franchise. The talent isn't there to do any better. I cannot believe the Browns are keeping that fraud Hue Jackson, has he no shame? He is clearly not good enough and should just resign.

Only thing keeping him from being fired is how John Elway wants John Elway's legacy to be viewed. Sacking Joseph is an admission of failure by Elway on what was his No1 choice from the outset last year & Elway is so vain & hates to be seen as wrong he may well be prepared to gibe Joseph another year.

That essentially will be the same type of decision Indy made keeping Pagano. Back then everyone knew how poor that decision was. Joseph has the same haven't a clue characteristics
