Adding a talented WR to the Saints never ends badly. Stidham and Pipkins look good value too, and they should get a little time to develop given the Saints roster.

I was about to take a deeper look at Ryan Bates...... then you picked him.

Considering their lack of picks i guess it was a case of waiting to see what fell to you rather than having specific names in mind?

Pretty much, yeah. Samuel should have instant impact in that offense and kick returns, then it was a long wait until the 5th round. Could maybe have passed on taking a QB too, but they only have Bridgewater on a one year deal and he could well move on next year so Stidham might have a chance to stick as a backup. They don't seem to have that many obvious holes so it was probably just as well that I didn't have to overthink things too much.

129 - Josh Oliver, TE
135 - Maxx Crosby, EDGE
164 -Bryce Love, RB
199 - Drew Lewis, LB
240 - Khari Willis, S

Quite pleased with my overall haul and I do like all the prospects, but in hindsight I'd probably have preferred to go with Hakeem Butler, Jerry Tillery & Julian Love with my initial three picks.
Love the AJ Brown pick at 34. CB (like safety) is a tough one to judge this year, especially if you set your sights on one early. Williams has the athleticism you desire in a corner, especially that 4.37 speed, so I can see the appeal. Having picked at 24 I looked at them both.

I'm not sure Josh Oliver is the sum of his parts yet, but the upside is there. Again, I was looking at TE around the same time as you so I'd looked into Oliver a little. Not a fan of Maxx Crosby, but another pick I love is Bryce Love at 164. Mack showed what he can do last season, but there's certainly room for Love alongside him.

236. Jacksonville - Hjalte Froholdt, G, Arkansas
I think you made the right choice playing it 'safe' with Jonah Williams. Oruwariye's value seems to be all over the place, 1st round to 3rd round. You getting him in the 3rd though matches the floor, so that has the potential to be a steal.

You and your Danes too. If its not Michael Laudrup it's Hjalte Froholdt!

It’s not a Draft without the Patriots taking someone from Rutgers...
