"Child murder is a very serious matter ", is it really , . . . then why have you saw fit to mention it on a NFL forum about a rookie QB ? ..... unbelievable !!

I'll be honest - it was my exagerated response to the absolutely awful 'I don't mind what he does, as long as it doesn't effect his play' attitude being displayed by fans in this thread.

You're seriously okay with your new QB doing coke in the months leading up to his debut?

Do you honestly believe Johnny Manziel would go into a public toilet in Vegas and sniff cocaine ?
its obviously either a prank on his behalf ( which is childishly idiotic ) or a fake photo .

When i said " it's all about what he does on the field " what i meant was , it doesn't matter what he does in his spare time , as long as he performs for the Browns , obviously taking class A drugs and child murder would change my stance on the subject .

As far as i'm concerned , the only thing he's guilty of , is being a childish prat which as i stated in my initial post , is worrying for us Browns fans

Whether he did or not is irrelevant. My post was in response to the attitude of those saying it would not matter if he did.

You just happened to be who I picked on

I'd say it could be a legit photo, it doesn't exactly look like it's been staged or that Manziel knows a pic is being taken if someone is just sneakily snapping a mirrored reflection. I wouldn't say that what he does off the field is irrelevant either, seeing as being a coke user isn't really that compatible with going into your first season in one of the biggest sport leagues in the world, as one of the most reported on players in that league.

There's clearly some sort of issues over the legitimacy of the photos as a lot of the big sports news sites like ESPN and NFL.com hardly mention the story. They clearly don't want to get involved in a story that could turn out to be bogus or entirely innocent until they know something more concrete.

For his sake I hope its a fake photo as he was one of the most exciting players I've ever seen when he was at A&M.

Regardless of the legitimacy of the photos, manziel is a party guy and appears to revel in his image.

If I'm his HC I want it reigned in, because it looks bad and is hardly condusive to a succesful rookie qb season

Perhaps he should read JJ Watt's letter.
