was just watching the '93 cowboys america's game on sky sports mix. emmitt was superb. he's for sure one of the top 5 guys that got me hooked on the sport when i was a youngster.

Emmitt came after I was 'hooked' on the sport for me, so in my mind guys like Thurman Thomas, Barry Sanders, Herschel Walker, and to some extent Roger Craig hold a stronger grip on my earliest memories.

He crushed the early-mid 90's though during those SB runs. Look at 1995, 439 touches! Talk about a workhorse back. 2148 total yards, 25 TD's. You look at today's Cowboys and how reliant they are on Zeke, and the most touches he's had to date in a single season is 381, 2001 yards and 9 TD's.

Compare their 'age 23' seasons.

Emmitt Smith: 432 touches, 2048 yards, 19 TD's.
Ezekiel Elliott: 381 touches, 2001 yards, 9 TD's.
