Default Baseball cards

Does anyone collect them? Just starting this by buying a box of topps 2013 opening day from amazon usa. Including customs and delivery it's 35 gpb for 200+ cards which seems pretty good to me.

I do too. I have just increased my collection to over 1000 with a complete set of Upper Deck 1991 cards - £14 from ebay, factory sealed too!

Ebay is a good place, I started my collection buying 100 or so mixed cards. There are a few people who sell job lots which could contain the odd gem

The Allen and Ginter 2006 collection are my favourite but I'm not going to pay £200+ for the set (ebay again) http://mycardboardmistress.blogspot....inter-100.html. I'll just pick them up where I can

If you want to catalogue your collection try http://www.zistle.com/. It's a good (and free) website to keep tabs on how your collection is going. Plus you can trade with other members.

That seems like a great deal, how many cards were in the 1991 set?

I'm after some newer sets next, one from this year would be nice.

Just picked up a Jim Greengrass (Reds) card from 1954.

Nice, though the vintage cards aren't my cup of tea because I don't know anyone! Opening the packs today, it was quite addictive, waiting to see what you get. I only need 9 cards to complete the base set which is good.

Traded a few cards on there with collectors in the US, although a lot are put off by the fact that their prized card(s) are going to be travelling such a long distance, not to mention the cost of postage. I traded the Greengrass card for 5 Allen & Ginter cards - check them out, the artwork is great!

Haven't traded/collected any for a few months to be honest.

Mines JetLife, just trying to work out how to add cards on the mobile site.
Edit: don't worry I found out how.
