Default Coaching Carousel 2016

Apart from LSU it seems there are going to be a fair few high profile jobs up for grabs this year - potentially USC, Texas & Oregon at least to add to the mix. A few weeks ago Herman was the prize but it seems his stock has fallen a fair amount. Who will be the hottest properties this year?

I'd love Mike Leach to get a big job purely for the entertainment value, dude needs a bigger platform - him at Texas would be awesome.

Most of the best candidates have a lot keeping them where they are - can any one pull someone unexpected or are they all trying to get the up and comer?

You can probably take Oregon off that list Helfrich is going nowhere this year they'll have to pay him $11m or they could wait a year he has another bad year then fire him for free, he doesn't yay no bad football.

PJ Fleck seems to be the one everyone wants at the minute

Aye I see Les Miles getting his coaching team together. By the sounds of it a NCAA team not NFL? A good coach for some team to pick up.
Also sounded like he's been approached already by a team so maybe waiting till end of season to make announcement? Tennessee Vols? I wonder

All you need is Tennessee to lose at home to Kentucky next week and I imagine Butch will be moved on.

Miles is probably lined up for the Purdue job unless something better comes along. I think the offensive struggle stigma might prevent higher profile programs wanting him.

I don't think he will go to Purdue, Indiana isn't enough of a recruiting hotbed and they have to deal with Notre Dame.

Default Butch Davis off to FIU

I see ESPN have lost Butch Davis he's taking over at Florida International.
He did well at Miami and knows how to recruit and win. Should do OK there.

Could have probably aimed higher although with it being FIU I assume he still lives in Miami and wanted to stay close.
