it would be pretty stupid given pretty much all of there players crapped the bed.

if he had the time of Luck and had failed i could see that, the running game never really got going and he was missing 2 WRs.

i think it comes down to the coach, not sure its enough to get him fired but it was a poor showing.

reports Hopkins on top of his previous injury had a shoulder sprain for the 2nd half.

with Watson he does feel like on of those mobile QB's who are more dangerous on the move but if you can keep him in the pocket you fancy your chances.

might have not mattered in the end with how much the Colts dominated but those early off-side call's on the Texans that kept drives alive where key and maybe to hear Watt say he was going to gamble came back to bite.

maybe the actual problem is they will have to spend to meet the 2017-2020 cash spending floor but they have drafted so well these guys cant be paid so you have to risk big free agent splashes on a well balanced team your building.

would paying Bell be worth it with how well Mack fits there system??

Mack and Hines are a good young combo, Bell is the elite option and with that sort of space and the way talent falls onto the market it would be worth a long look.

i guess Bell would be interested given there season and the way the OL has played.

There's been a romance between Bell and the Colts' instagram account this season, he's been liking and commenting since the start of the season. Doubt he would make a public connection to the Colts for no reason...think the fact we can afford to pay him the most is reason number one, but our OLine no doubt gonna be salivating to any running back!

Still I don't think Ballard will be prepared to pay near to what Bell would demand, he's preached moderation in free agency and building through the draft since day one - though, admittedly, you gotta spend the cash eventually. But deliberately, and clearly successfully, relying on mid-late round draft picks for a specific position, to then suddenly overspend on that same position doesn't equate.

Bell aside, not likely to be a free agency with many obvious stars, so shall be interesting to see what Ballard does. This was meant be the offseason ahead that takes us to the next step in making the play offs...I can't believe we're here already.
