Absolutely delighted with the win. Our O Line is dodgy as **** but if we keep coming up with good offensive gameplans and play excellent D and STs we are in the playoffs.

One thing that is critical for us imo, ironically enough in Martz's system, is Greg Olsen. Thank God we didn't trade him. He is exactly the lump of a man we need to out muscle D backs and has the height to catch balls to the back of the end zone. Knox and Hester don't give us that and the other guys we have aren't consistent enough although Bennett once again did what was asked of him.

Julius Peppers, once again, was outstanding. He got in Vicks face from the start and chased him down on countless occasions. He forced Vick to back peddle where he'd normally run and forced him to throw when he wasn't ready. Vick very much knew he was out there. Not only that but he constantly hustled around the D backfield. Great great player.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the NFC North supposed to be between the Packers and the Vikes ? Guess Lovie didn't read the script.

Fantastic performance from all three phases of the team. Although Vick still had a good game he never settled and credit to the D-line for the pressure they generated. Peppers has been immense all season, he is leading the pro bowl voting for a DE and deservedly so. His all round play has been superb.

I thought the best aspect of the game was the big plays of the Offense. They beat the Eagles at their own game

The D-line played with the excellent discipline that you must have against Vick, you can't leave your lane and let him see space. Idonije has been getting better all season.

Cutler had a great game.

The O-line still has incredible breakdowns, but in between they are fairly solid now.

Our light-weight WRs seem to have good traction on that crappy field, I think we exploited it very well.

Great win. THAT is how Cutler is effective Martz. Roll him out of the pocket... make the opposition think about the run.....play action. The D-Line were so disciplined and Peppers is Defence MVP 2010. Amazing perfromance against Vick 2.0. Need to win the division as the wild card picture is so muddled. Given we lost to NYG we might be better served with them winning the NFC East as the Saints could finish runners up in the south with 12-4.
P.S How well has Briggs(bar one play yesterday)been this year?
