Fans of other teams may not appreciate it but I truly feel this game is bigger than the Superbowl. The oldest rivalry in football, Countless Hall of Famers, 21 Championships between them and passionate fanbases.

What a game this will be. Hopefully with a Bears win.

Worried as hell with Rodgers playing as he is currently. I think he is #1 QB playing in the NFL but Chicago's D matches well against the Pack. A big game from Peppers and who knows? The Bears D is great at getting turnovers and I have a feeling they are due a couple this week. Might need them but if Chicago can establish the run whilst stopping GB's run game they have a great chance. Urlacher is my comeback player of the year.

The last game against Green Bay the Bears kept exactly the same game plan they had the first time they met. Martz acknowledged they did not change a thing. Forte ran well against them and they still could have won if they had stuck to the run. It will be a hard fought game but I think home field will make the difference. The Soldier field pitch is awful and the Bears know how to play on it. 20-17 Bears.

Funny enough I usually cheer for the AFC team in the Bear's absence in a Superbowl(no jokes please). Last year was an exception but I would have cheered on Baltimore for example this year. Just hope we can do it this time. Packers playing well but the Bears have played well all season. The nationally televised sack-fest @ NYG seems to have coloured some peoples perceptions of the Bears. The Bears over the last 10 games have been a solid, run first team. Mike Tice has done a great job and is not getting much recognition(Halling excepted).

Probably going slightly off point. Does anyone else here feel that at times of great stress that sport ( and YOUR team ) can lift you? At the start of this season I ( and I am sure a great deal of you fellow Bears ) were feeling the pinch. Probably still are. Then 11-5 comes along. Cutler using his head. Forte getting 30 touches. The glorious inconsequence of sport someone said once. It really is important but we know not why. BEAR DOWN !
