Default The Browns are coming to town

Was in pub in Covent Garden last night having chat about possible IS games for next year. Lady cuts into conversation and says she works for NFL and has info about Tuesdays announcement. To cut to the chase she strongly implied 3 Wembley games and 1 Twickenham game, then says this is a big hint by showing me a picture of her in the Browns stadium.

Just saying...

If true, I wonder if that would be a home game against the Packers. The only away game that would seem viable is 4th vs 4th AFC West at the Chargers.

Just to add to this I did see a Browns journalist tweet last week saying to not be surprised if the browns come over and then I've also saw this article from Cleveland.com news site...

BEREA, Ohio -- The Browns might be playing one of their games in London in 2017, league sources have told cleveland.com.

The NFL has increased its commitment to the U.K. market by scheduling four games in London next season, and the Browns could be playing in one of those games.

The NFL will announce the four matchups on Tuesday morning.

As of last year, the Browns were on the short list for a game in London in 2017 or 2018. They're either already scheduled for 2017, or will be in the running for one in 2018.

Jags @ Browns

Good luck selling that to the neutral fan!

Although back to back visits by one team are not a thing yet but what have the Jags got to lose?

Can't see any team giving up a game against the Packers.

To be honest, as a neutral, I'd prefer jags@browns to the packers. Much more likely to be a close game instead of a first half blow out.

Rams don't play each other in 2017 or 2018 so that horror show won't be coming to town!

Default Browns :(

I thought they said 4 London games, not "3 games and the Browns".

I originally had little intention to go see the Jags again this year but now instead may pass off my Browns tickets depending on the opposition.

If the rumours are true, many people will be eating their words tomorrow and be first in queue for Browns tickets when the time comes!
