Antonio Brown had a meeting today with Art Rooney, Kevin Colbert and executive Omar Kahn, where it was agreed that a trade will be for the best.

Brown has also let it be known that whoever trades for him will have to give him either a new deal or some guaranteed dollars.

at 31 and turning into TO before our very eye's wonder how many of the other 31 teams have already took themselves out of the running.

reports of a $350k signing bonus but nothing else guaranteed.

Arizona aint hanging around with either using there #1 pick in waivers or getting anyone who gets released.

The Jags have picked up Calais Campbells 2019 option

Atlanta have signed Ty Sambrailo to a 3 year extension.

Im not convinced he actually wants out of Pittsburgh this year the way he's acting. His quotes and antics of late are making him less appealing to other teams. It wouldn't surprise me to see him stay in Pittsburgh this season, doing the bare minimum to collect his game cheques (or the majority of his $21m anyway) , then make things so toxic the Steelers are forced to release him next off season instead. That way he'd spitefully minimise the compensation the Steelers get, whilst creating a bidding war for him as a free agent, even if he'd be 32.

The only thing that sinks that idea is he'd hurt his career stats, and the way he's acting of late makes me think they matter to him.

Obviously he's had his clear the air talks today, and posted his nice picture, but we're things really resolved to the extent he claims??

Pittsburgh have to make things now look so cosy to get any assemblance of value for him. The Steelers despite what the Rooneys, Tomlin & Roethlisberger really think will have to pretend Brown is a great team player and the last few months were the actions of a relationship coming to a natural end.

Thats hogwash but the game the Steelers will have to play. Once he's out of the building the real stories of what's occurred will emerge

May do ok with a QB who can throw an accurate intermediate pass.

Clay is too easily crocked. Throughout his career he has gone from one malady to another. Worth a look for Arizona who have struggled at TE for ever

you might be right than AB didn't want to leave Pittsburgh but they have a club policy of not re-doing deals with more than 1 year left so maybe this is his end around as he has 3 years left and no guarantee's.

the twitter stuff calling out the HC/QB would be hard to get passed as that will dominate the off-season and pre-season plus like we have seen with OBJ a camera trained on him on the sideline for every reaction.

if someone wants that because he can help them on the field it will be about what value you can get away with offering, maybe the 2nd day pick could be all that gets offered.

if Arizona are smart there will be lots of game day incentives and bonuses for his stats.Strange he signed so soon for only a 1 year deal, why not wait and see how free agency goes its not like he would have got less.

I would be surprised if the Steelers firmly committed to trading him at any value whatsoever. They probably agreed they'd seek a trade. But I get the feeling that each time Brown opens his mouth his value goes down. As you say, those kind of comments will chase away a lot of teams, but not all. His general demeanour recently will chase away others. Someone will definitely be interested, but at what price? The Steelers take a massive dead money hit if they trade him before June 1st. Which doesn't mean they won't, but it does mean they'll want value for it. Otherwise they might as well hang on until post-June 1st, when the cap hit drops from $21m to $7m. That's a big cap difference for a team like the Steelers. They won't cut him.
