Yeah didn't see that. Just use the 'cut' function and looked at the cap savungs/dead money. It obviously doesn't take everything into account.

So 3 years/ $65m. Still not a bad deal for both sides. Tagging him in 2019 and 2020 would've cost close to $50m anyway (plus the associated headaches).

The Clowney deal will be interesting. Could come in higher than Lawrence's? Doubt Frank Clark's does.

well it seems Dave is an even worse GM than anyone thought possible, the poor return for Beckham was bad enough but the report is he never even went back to the 49ers to see if they would better it, preferring his mates rates deal.

Duke Johnson has requested a trade from the Brown's.

I wish he was in the final year of his extension, but I'm not sure his cap numbers are going to work for the Cowboys. He'd be a great partner for Zeke.

reading the story the Giants seemed happy with the Browns offer and getting a player in a position they needed wouldn't have worked with many other teams.

also like the Bears with Mack the Pats with Jimmy G both GM's could have maybe got more elsewhere but really wanted the player been traded out of the conference which the Giants also managed.

his salaries aren't guaranteed after this season so if he wants out he may have to re-do his deal where ever he goes as $2.2m maybe to much also the Browns could sweeten the deal by converting some salary to get a better pick.

No details have emerged, but John Lynch maintains that the 49ers made a better offer for Mack, and the Raiders turned it down as they didn't want to trade with their geographical neighbours.

Bet that's what he was dreaming of when he moved into American Football.

Mind you, might be a good spot for someone who's presumably going to first get his shot as a return man.
