Default Doss?

I see most fans in the state's are begging for him to be amongst the next lot of cuts.

Have I missed something? I havnt been able to see any pre season games so was wondering what he has done to deserve all the hate? Last I heard he was still in the running for a spot.

Absolutely nothing, which is kind of the point! He's just not been making any plays, he's had a couple of drops in pre-season, and against Carolina ran the wrong route which led to Joe getting picked off.

He's just not developing how people had hoped, offers nothing on special teams, and is getting outperformed by younger, hungrier and more talented guys.

If he didn't have a high..ish round draft pick nobody would bat an eyelid if he was cut.

He's a really poor receiver.

Cut.

Can't believe I'm saying this but...................Tandon Doss actually had a good game on Sunday as a return man.

Just don't let him play WR!!

This guy obviously doesn't know what he's talking about.

I, however, have always been a Tandon Doss guy.

The Doss situation has got me thinking. Whilst I think he isnt a great or even mediocre WR he seems to be doing alright at returning punts. A great return yesterday for a TD and looks a safe pair of hands.

Whilst we have one of the better punt returners in the league in Jacoby Jones is it time for Jacoby to step up as the 2nd reciever and leave the returns to Doss? We lose some of his explosive plays but atleast he could concentrate fully on beng a WR without having to play special teams.

Our needs at WR far outweigh our need for a premier punt returner.

Whats the thoughts guys?
