Default Eugene Monroe

Ravens have traded for Jags LT Eugene Monroe. Two third day picks apparently.

Don't know what we traded but our OLine is shocking at the moment. I think he was solid for the Jags but they drafted there future in Jokel. I think it's good move for both. And the Jags get something for him before he hits FA

This move says a lot about Bryant McKinnie's attitude. I don't get McKinnie, he's a brute of a tackle when he puts his mind to it, he just doesn't seem to want to put his mind to it!

Hopefully Monroe will help our O-Line but it will take more than simply swapping left tackles to fix the problems we have right now in that area.

Smith and Monroe in one season.

How come you guys seem to know more about the Jags strengths than the Jags front office do?

Actually on second thought don't answer that *grin*

Well you have a good chance to work him out and work out if you want to lock him up.

In the last three years the most successful Jags players have probably been MJD, Smith and Monroe.

So considering you have two of those three now you probably should be happy.

Stated before that Smith is one of my fav Jags of all time, hopefully you guys sometime can get him a deserved pro bowl nod before he hangs his cleats up

Smith has been our best pick up of the Off season by a country mile. He is just a smart football player which is what we needed in the middle.

The Jags were scared that he wouldn't be the player he was before injuries mixed with a rebuilding younger squad. I'm just amazed it took so long for him to be picked up.

If you take a look at polls on top Jags players ever (I know that is not long before we say) then you'll find Smith is usually in the top 10...

Something had to happen, for me Mckinnie,Oher and Gradkowski have all struggled this season. I think Gradkowski will become a good centre but needs time.
