Default The Good, The Bad and The Ugly - Week 2 vs Cinncinati

The Good - Charles Woodson

Woodson was the only good thing about this game. The man was everywhere in the first half, and those two picks were typical from someone of his calibre. Ochocinco could have had many more catches when you have a pass rush that mediocre, but Woodson was on his ass the whole game.

The Bad - Run Defense

After such a strong performance last week, it was astonishing to see Cedric Benson run for over 140 yards. Poor tackling was a main factor in this, especially from the LB core (leaving this week's good to clean up after them). The WR group could have clinched this spot had it not been for some good hustle from Driver and Finley after shaky starts (yes I know Finley is a TE, but I'm looking for some positives here)

The Ugly - PASS PROTECTION

For the second week in a row (as well as all the poor performance from last season) pass protection was plain and simple ugly. So Clifton got injured. Fine, that takes some adjustment. 6 sacks worth? And no, you cant blame them all on Rodgers not stepping up into the pocket (although that probably counts for 2 of them)

MVP - Charles Woodson

See Above

LVP - Mike McCarthy

When your team goes out and shows little discipline, cant tackle, cant catch and cant just get in the way of the opposing team, you have to know deep down you and your staff did something wrong that week.

For Me:

The Good: Woodson
Without his two INTs we would of been facing a 2 score half time deficit.

The Bad - O-Line
Without sorting this out, Rodgers is going to be sacked a load more this season.

The Ugly
Letting them convert on 3rd and 35 on their own 5-10 yard line.

Woodson had a few huge plays but also made some errors in coverage (as he did against Chicago). He was solely responsible for Coles being wide open on the Bengals first TD. Still he was probably the only glimmer of hope in the entire game, with perhaps the exception of Jermichael Finley who made a few plays late in the game.

The Good: Woodson, Finley

The Bad: Rodgers (holding on to the ball too long), dropped passes, run defense

The Ugly: Pass protection

Finley was probably the best guy catching the ball on sunday, but that really isnt saying much seeing as he was invisible for 3 quarters.

woodson kept us in the game. catches that should of been made weren't, Offensive Line is Struggling and the injuries are not making it easier. Rodgers looks good moving around in the pocket. We need to stop the run against the Rams.
