Default Robin Thicke - ironic choice?

Considering how the NFL is trying to change it's image when it comes to domestic violence, choosing an act whose most famous song advocates date-r4pe and that when women say no they actually mean yes would seem a tad odd.

Surprised there isn't a load of noise in the media after this announcement. Usually, the domestic violence charities and other women's campaign groups are all over any time this guy is supposed to be playing somewhere, or trying to get that Blurred Lines song banned.

Does seem a strange choice, given the NFL's policy on domestic violence.

I don't care much for that type of music anyway, so I'll make the most of that time to hit the bar.

If you actually listen to the lyrics of the song as oppose to reports in the mainstream media, neither of these statements are true. At least you will get the chance to listen in person on Sunday

Who is this fella then?

Is he "down wit da kidz"?

I suppose someone at NFL Towers has put some thought into this.

But if he actually listened to the lyrics he would not be able to sensationalise on this and other threads.

It really doesn't matter who they chose, someone would definitely complain about them on this Forum.

Made me laugh when Little Mix was booed. Can't wait for the announcement of Thicke in Wembley. I thought he was shunned from main stream music?

When I heard there was going to be someone Thicke at Wembley, my first reaction was 'Sam Allardyce has a nerve showing up'.
