Default Dilfers ESPN QB Rankings

a very detailed and put opinion/list

much better way of organising the QB's/list - use of groups with specific criteria

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/previe...ent&id=4436281

Here the top guys:

Elite (Quarterbacks demonstrating total mastery of the position with no holes in their game and a Super Bowl victory to back it up. Future Hall of Famers.)
1-Manning
2-Brady

Superstar (Quarterbacks with no holes in their games who have demonstrated an ability to carry their teams. They are a championship ring away from joining Manning and Brady among the elite. There's no game plan these guys can't beat.)
1-Brees
2-Rivers

Stars (Quarterbacks who have overcome small holes in their games to produce in a big way and enjoy big-game success. These are consistent prime-time performers, with very little separating them from Superstar status.)
1-Big Ben
2-McNabb
3-Eli Manning
4-Warner
5-Hasselbeck

Agree with them all except Eli and Hasselbeck.

Palmer and Cutler ahead of them for me.

Big Ben belongs in the Superstars group along with Brees and Rivers.

I'd point out then that on 5 occasions last season (SB included) Ben led a game winning offensive drive. Not sure that great D had much to do with that.

hes gotta be joking on rivers? absolute superstar team!!

u say bout big ben draggin the team with the amazing d, rivers cant even do that! eli and ben won superbowls, in whatever fashion, rivers aint, and im not sure he will anytime soon. the one thing i like about the guy is he is a proper fighter, but no superstar like brees in my opinion

A great D isn't a whole lot of use if you have to drive 80 yards in 2 mins to win a game

I personally would rate Big Ben higher than Rivers.

Not sure about Warner or Hasselbeck this season could have a big say on how I will rate them.

I think Arron Rogers has the capability to move onto this list in the next few years.

Kyle Orton - Strong Arm?

The one in Denver must be a different one who played in Chicago and only had 1 pass over 30 yards last season and kept under throwing Devin Hester.
