Looking at the guy who started this thread years ago, reminded me of my early Saints
days when Alge Crumpled played at Jimmy Graham levels against us not sure what his career stats were, but he would have been a shoe in for the HOF if he played every week like he did in our games!
Sorry, should have (obviously) been Alge Crumpler. No doubt auto correct doing its
thing.

I think 10-6 is a pretty fair assesment actually, the optimist in me thinks 11-5, we kept most of our key players and I like the Mckinley pick (though in my opinion, that was an expensive trade up).

The pessimist in me says 8-8, with so many coaching changes, a SB hangover and a getting used to a new stadium may just tip the scale out of our favour a little.

What are everyone's thoughts on the draft so far?

Got to say from what i've seen I like the look of both players we've taken so far.

Bit surprised you haven't taken an OL yet, but McKinley could wreak havoc with Beasley for years to come and Riley looks a perfect fit for your Defense...

Just wondering what everyone's views are after 6 games played. Do people still think we'll make the playoffs? I must say I can't see a better then an 8-8 season now.

I'm undecided on this team at 4-3. Last year we were 4-3 and ended up in the Super Bowl so it can happen. We're definitely not peaking too early. With 4 of the last 6 at home I think then a strong finish to the year could line us up nicely for the playoffs although I think we'll need 10 or 11 wins just to get there.

As far as the other contenders well I think Philly will be a tough out and Seattle are always tough to beat at home. Vikings I'm not completely sold on although their defense is nothing to be sniffed at. Dallas should just shut up about Zeke's suspension and let it happen now as the longer it festers on the more chance he could be out of action come playoff time if he gets there (not that I'll complain) and they're a vastly inferior team with him not in the lineup. Rams have looked good but with an inexperienced QB and coach who knows how they'll handle the playoffs if they get there.

The team are capable of making the playoffs, but they've made it harder work than they need to have.

Need two wins out of the next three and take it from there.
