I just hope he doesn't tarnish his reputation by coming back half the player he was.

I personally think he will be a massive success with the raiders, give that guy some fire in his belly (playing for is hometown) and beast mode will be fully ignited, and terrorising those D lines
Not sure how much he will have left, although he will have much better blocking than he had towards the end of his time in Seattle...

hahahaha true that.

Time will tell, hunger and desire goes a long way but if the legs and body don't agree....

I'm excited, and probably have my Lynch goggles on, but here's to hoping he does well!!

It's probably not a very Ozzie move but I would take Jamaal Charles in a heartbeat. Our running back room is full but it lacks talent. Offensively we did little else but throw the ball to our running backs last year, Charles excels as a receiver out the backfield.

The Browns are releasing TE Gary Barnidge, no real surprise after Drafting David Njoku last night...

Wow, what a difference a year makes for Barnidge.

I think Charles' knees must be wrecked.

Personally, I always thought he was hugely over-rated anyway. Yeah, he has a stunning career YPC, but I don't like starting backs who net you 1,2,-1,-2 yards on 90% of their carries then rip off a huge gainer. Gimme a guy who can move the pile every down. That's the job of your starting RB.

Patriots have picked up Brandin Cooks 5th year option so now the team have him under contract for 2 years for around a total of $10m.fair to say thats better value than whatever was available at #32 in the draft.

Well, financially the #32 pick would have cost about $3.5m for the next 2 years, and about $8m over the next 4, but I see your point.

You could have had someone like Zay Jones in this Draft but you'd have to think Cooks is clearly the better option at this stage of their careers.
