I would agree, not so fussed by Knox but like the rest of the picks.

From the details available and my limited knowledge of the College game we seem to be making some smart picks for players with great upsides, Iglesias, Moore and Gilbert especially.
Just watched Moore's vid on NFL.com, how come he fell so far?

I like the Freeman pick as well.

Knox could be a good addition even if he fails to add anything new. I reckon he'll develop quicklyand could be useful in 2010 but we'll see.

Just selected safety Al Afalaya... don't know much of him.

I think he is bit small and his timed speed eventually knocked him down boards. I think teams feel he takes too many risks and while he will make plays he will give up some big ones and doesn't really have the speed to make it back.

Looks a nice draft, although I have no knowledge of college players. Can't wait for the season to kick off and see how we look.

I don't imagine we will see a great deal from the picks this season. The only player who I imagine will make a significant contribution is Iglesias. He is the sort of rookie who can make an impact during his rookie year, but he may not have huge upside so I guess that is why he went in Round 3.

Gilbert is an interesting pick given we have Dvoracek, Harris, Idonije and Harrison already. I cannot see him at DE so I can only assume Chicago are considering moving Idonije back to end or assuming Tommie Harris will continue to get hurt.

One of the picks I like is Freeman who could eventually compete with Roach on the weakside in 2010 but will probably backup Briggs until he shows he is worth giving a shot.

My favourite pick is D.J Moore who some had as a first round pick. I think a lot is made of measured speed and size but he is just a very good football player. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him starting before the season is over.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Iglesias on ST, let him return a few kicks, see what he can do.

Like you Olig, I really like the look of Marcus Freeman, watched this vid this morning, and was impressed.

Seems like our staff love us some Vanderbilt players: Hunter Hillenmeyer, Earl Bennett, Jay Cutler, Chris Williams, DJ Moore.

Our offense could be really dangerous this year. I can't wait.
