Just have to hope he returns within 6 weeks. A real shame he misses the game in Philly too, that would have guaranteed some fireworks.

In terms of the receiver position it puts pressure on Terrance Williams to step up and become our #1 WR in the short term. Devin Street will need to step up and prove he can play on the outside too, in effect replacing Williams. Cole Beasley is looking good, so perhaps Romo will lean on him, and the ever reliable #82, a little more.

We were light on WR's to begin with, especially guys who can play on the outside, so it might restrict the play calling a little too.

We'll need a better showing from our running game next week to combat a high powered Eagles offence that's for sure.

He could.........but then how often have we heard how dangerous he could be if we got him the ball in space..........only for that not to happen. With Dez out though he should get a few more chances, but I'm not holding my breath.

Thankfully we have plenty of options to split Dez's touches between. I think against the Giants he was the 'hot hand', a mismatch that was there for Romo play after play. I'm not sure he'll have the same success against the likes of Kiko Alonso this week.

Looks like Dez is out for possibly 12 weeks then after all. Needing a bone graft seems to have ratcheted up the seriousness of the fracture in terms of recovery, but hopefully it's a procedure that helps in the long term.

Explains why they went out and traded for another WR too. We'll get a better look at how we'll cope in his absence tonight I guess..................
