Palmer is also 12th in career passing yards (46,247), just one place behind Fran Tarkenton.

if Palmer didn't hurt his finger late in 2015 maybe he could have made it to a superbowl but his last 2 seasons the Cardinals have went backwards.

the owner said the team had learnt from its previous mistake and would never find themselves struggling to find a new QB plan when there vet retired(Warner) and now the team has no HC or a decent starting QB.oops.

There was talk of that earlier in the week. An interesting move.

I always thought his future would be in coaching going back to his days at Boise St. He's a name to watch in the future as a potential HC.

Yep. No doubt they'd sooner still have him, but at least they have several draft picks this year that they can use to replace him.

It's sad, but along with Williams it's great he got to see the playoffs. I called well imagine he may stay connected to the team in retirement

I disagree on the 2nd statement, the Bills have a plug and play replacement in Ryan Groy who has been excellent whenever he has played, I don't see much impact at all on the field, his role in the locker room is more of an issue
