Dalton is in his 7th year and will be 30 next month, he's never going to be any better than a mediocre QB who needs help from a great supporting cast. Yes he's bad under pressure and is behind a bad O-line but he's making awful mistakes on plays when he's not pressured and for a QB of his experience that's just not good enough. No more excuses.

Dalton is clearly a nice guy, but I'm afraid I'm pretty much at the point where I'd like him to get injured (not horribly obvs) so we can see what we have in McCarron (because Mike Brown will never sack Marv mid-season and Marv will never bench Dalton). This season is done already - Lambeau next... yikes!

Any away win is a good one, so the Texans must be feeling quite chuffed, even if they managed only 13 points. The Bengals, on the other hand, need an offense.

One thing that struck me was how clean the Bengals looked in their white uniforms. No unsightly grass or mud stains. It could have been a commercial for a washing powder rather than an American football match!

Worrying thing for the Texans apart from the qb issue-which now seems decided, is lack of sacks from a team touted to be in line for all kinds of records. When JJ and Clowney play, the former goes AWOL for much of the game, but is a monster when Watt isnt playing.Neither can be benched of course, but coach has to do some thinking, and now with Cushing out, also has to stop the run.

Needed doing IMHO, we can't look any worse on offense. Some rare decisiveness from the Bengals and very welcome, watch out Marv!

Its not panic. its long over due, he was never up to the job, it was clear from the get go. Who knows what this Lazor guy is like but its all a stop gap until 2018 and Marv gets on his bike hopefully.
