Ditka's! Apart from it being the legendary coach's place, the food was really good

if you like Pizza
http://giordanos.com/the-menu/ or featured in Man vs Food and it looked to die for what he tried http://www.ginoseast.com/ or http://www.loumalnatis.com/ Chicago is famous for pizza and all are highly recommended. I remember at the Hawks game I attended someone said you must try Giordanos and I did and it was excellent. But looking online they are all highly recommended. The other choice is one I visit in other US States its that good and its Uno's http://www.unos.com/menus/ The Broccoli & Cheddar Soup is other worldly it is so good. I have been brought up by a Mum who is a fantastic cook and a Gran who is also a fine cook so I feel I know my food and that Soup is amazing If you prefer the Clam Chowder there is also brilliant Main Course I would create your own Deep Dish Pizza. They are simply gorgeous. But if Pizza isn't your thing there Burgers are also fantastic If I was going back soon I would try Ditka's it looked dodgy as anything on my Dad's 1985 Bears video (part of it shows the restaurant and the food didn't look good), but I know that it was a new restaurant then and the reviews of Trip Advisor would suggest its worth a visit Last edited by Packman12; 08.05.2014 at 10:37 AM. |

I wrote a post about my trip in 2012 ( http://disneykymie.wordpress.com/201...-chicago-2012/ ) , have a picture of The Fridge burger and Banana Cream Pie there somewhere, have had pizza at Giordano's and Lou Malnatis, both were awesome. Have also heard Uno's is good but I have yet to try it.

to Chicago to the food I mentioned above and then to the great fish places in Boston and finally to a Wisconsin Cheddar Omelette in the Radisson in Green Bay |

We're doing Chicago for the first time, and New York and Boston again, but we generally ate in convenient places last time we were over, rather than going a bit further afield.
Want to shake it up a bit this time. |
