This may come a bit too early, but I'm really struggling to identify a sole position of need or a stand out player in the draft, for the Jaguars 5th overall pick.

Unless Free Agency makes it clear, I think I am up for trading the first round pick.

Was working out the needs for every team earlier, in preparation for when I do my first round mock, and the Jags were one of the trickier teams to work out...

I was thinking O-Line to keep Bortles standing - but not sure you want to do that this year early in the Draft - although someone might well get pushed up the board... Outside of that best player available works - never a bad idea to get a really good player.

Maybe a DB? Likely to have your pick of them at #4, could pair Jalen Ramsey with someone like Marshon Lattimore or take Hooker or Adams (especially if Cyprien leaves in FA)...

Surely you just pick any of the top 5 pick worthy DBs? Any are an upgrade, and I include over Ramsay. The Jags for me are the easiest of the top 10

Wouldn't agree that they're better than Ramsey (my choice for DPOY), but wouldn't surprise me if 3-4 of them go on to be regular Pro Bowlers...

They're 17-63 over the last 5 years, they just need to accumulate talent, regardless of position. In that sense it makes the selection 'easier' in terms of justifying the pick at least.

Heck, if this class had 3 or 4 quality QB's in it would Bortles be safe?

Bortles isn't safe even with this years class. Its highly unlikely they will draft one at pick 3, but it would be crazy to not pick up later.

If Bortles stinks again, they need something else credible.
