Default Possible workaround for log-in issues

Some users are continuing to have problems staying logged in to the forums. Hopefully, the Admins will manage to fix this in the near future.

In the meantime, a few people (myself included) have had success by signing in via the NFLUK home page instead of on the forum. Obviously, this won't work for everybody, but I'd recommend trying it if this issue continues to affect you...

Default I have been unable to sign in and so haven't posted

I, like many I think, have been unable to log in on my ipad and so haven't been active on this site. This is the first time I have thought to try to log in on pc and it has worked. Having said that, I am unlikely to post on pc in future.
I used the same log in details on my ipad and it still hasn't worked - perhaps because I am not on facebook, but I have no intentions of joining facebook.

I hope this doesn't block my use in future

My goodness, for the first time since February, this dog’s dinner of a forum has actually allowed me to log in and post something.

What a shambles.

Does anyone actually know what the score is with this forum? I am at my wits end. Passwords and login details constantly refused as being ‘incorrect’, despite being correct. Then I tried a password reset, having done that, still wouldn’t let me log in. Sent a ‘forgotten password’ message, and when I received the e-mail response and chose a new password, still wouldn’t let me log in using the new one, or on trying it again as a test, my old one.

I am typing this as somehow, I briefly appear to have been allowed to log in.

I am on the verge of chucking it on here. An absolute dog’s dinner of a forum.

Have you tried the workaround I suggested in the OP? I will let the Admins know you’re having issues, hopefully they can help out...

The first time I have been able to log on here this year and only by going onto a laptop and then logging in via the homepage. I've tried a few times to log on over the last few months on my phone but after entering my login details I just get a blank 'this page is not working' message and I am unable to even access any page on this forum after that

Angry

Is it NFL UK's intention to kill off this site or are the people who run it on their behalf achieving that by their sheer incompetence?
It has to be one or the other as there are a gazillion forums out there that run perfectly well.

You'll have guessed that I still have to log in and out all the time (although sometimes I can remain logged in for a couple of hours), work around tried and failed.
Is there a cure or should I just join the many other users of yore and clear off?
