Another coaching change that Rapoport classes as a 'big get' this off season. Fair enough, Patriots staff come with a certain level of respect, but it's not like the Chiefs just hired Belichick!

Rapoport must be in double figures this off season reporting 'big get' hires, and 99% of them haven't even been HC's, OC's or DC's.

on paper it maybe looks bad for the Patriots losing the Defensive line/Line backer/Corner backs coaches but its not like its the first time Belichick has seen whole sale changes to his staff but as said above Belichick is still there.

interesting hire in New York with Joe Vitt joining the Greg Williams defence.

Its going to be interesting in New Jersey with Bountygate alumni working together. Vitt was particularly vocal on Williams conduct in New Orleans

In the 1st major QB battle of 2019. Christian Hackenberg has beaten out Zack Mettenburger and someone else to be the starting QB of the Memphis Express

also reported Gregg Williams originally wanted his son Blake to be on his staff as the LB's coach but Gase "balked" and instead Joe Vitt who is Gase's father-in-law got that role as well as the senior defensive assistant role while Blake is just a defensive assistant.

this better start well or it could get messy quickly.

Teams should have to send draft compensation to the team that cut the player in situations like this.

The Chiefs make a stand against Hunt's actions, then one of the other 31 teams scoop up a top 10 RB once the dust settles. At what cost? A little bit of negative press? What do the Chiefs get out of it? A 'well done' on the day they release him and then not much more.

At the very least the cost should be the players original draft pick, in this case a 3rd rd pick.

Browns already have Nick Chubb and Duke Johnson, surprised they signed Hunt. I guess John Dorsey knows him better than most...

It's just talent acquisition at the end of the day, and it's not like they'll be paying him much either.
