reported as a 1 year deal for a maximum $1m so if he can serve his suspension and show his worth could get paid in 2020 free agency.

At the very least the cost should be the players original draft pick, in this case a 3rd rd pick.
but as we saw with the 49ers and Foster where is the "punishment" for teams who jump the gun by releasing a player and then we found out this time he did nothing happened.

the Chiefs could have kept Hunt by asking the league to put him on the exempt list but once he was released and cleared waivers he is a free agent and nothing to do with KC anymore.

the Panthers have given Eric Reid a 3 year $22m extension.

also Kyler Murray has said he is all in for an NFL career so will return the $5m he could have got from baseball and will see where he gets drafted.

also reports that Bears @ Lions Dolphins @ Dallas are been lined up for thanksgiving.

think so much of next season will be about the "100 year" stuff so Bears/Lions makes a lot of sense and the Cowboys play both team so allows for them to play the next Thursday again on TNF.

Cowboys/Dolphins have played a fair few times on thanksgiving so who knows.

No, I don’t think so. The Chiefs didn’t have to release him, they chose to. Whether he then goes onto be great with another team, or rubbish with another team, or never plays another down ceases to be their business. They chose to cut ties.
