I'm with Lovie on this one. At the end of the day they werent woring out with the team when they could have been. It's not a matter of whether or not the training camps were voluntary or not. They should be jumping at the oppurtunity to get back and train in the squad. It's disappointing that they chose not to but I completely admire Lovie's hard line stance on this one. He's the boss and he's goign to let it known, regardless of whether or not Drew Rosenhaus is representing Briggs.
Plus, it's still four months to the season. There's an awful lot of time to sort this out an at least Lovie has put his foot down and made a statement.

IMO Jones is pissed off with having less money than an unproven Rookie and I cant blame him for that .As for Briggs,going to the pro-bowl has gone to his head or should I say wallet..do we really think that he is worth more that Urlac!!!!!!

All will work its self out come the start of pre-season,I have fath in Lovie and Da Bears managment...

Briggs is probably gonna hit free agency, they made him a good offer and it wasn't enough. Jones has no leverage, even if he thinks he's underpaid, all he's doing is making it easier for them to make Benson the starter.

I have sympathy with Vasher, but they will see him right after this season if he performs anywhere near the level he did last year.

Briggs and Jones skipped the voluntary workouts and have not been offered anything new contract wise. Vasher returned to the voluntary mini camps for the last week or so, Jerry still is insisting he won't renegotiate a contract after only 2 years in the NFL.

All 3 are expected in training camp, Briggs and Vasher have said publicly they will be there. I expect Briggs to hit free agency and Vasher to be resigned after this season - I have no idea how the Jones situation will end up ???

The bears are the first team to sign all of their draft picks, mainly because we didn't have to sign a 1st rounder, but good to see none the less.

Getting everyone to camp can only be a good thing 8)

yeh I totaly agree with you...and with all the starters coming back as well.things are looking up for the team from the windy city

Oh no, it sounds like we're all getting confident. You can feel it in the tone of every Bears fans posts across various different internet sites, its on show it in the confident and efficient manner that Lovie is guiding this team with.
All this confidence! We're setting ourselves up for a fall!

It's OK for Da Bears this season cos Adi has guaranteed that Des Clark is gonna come good this season .

Hey guys, long time since i've been on. How we all feeling?? We gonna repeat this year??? Wasn't impressed with the draft to be honest but hopes are high for this season ;D
