I think he'll have some role on offense as well, proved last year to be dangerous with the ball in his hands. I'd like to see Cooper moved around more, surely Patterson can't stuff up a 'go straight down the field as fast as you can' route to open things up for the others.

Patterson deal- 2 years which can be voided down to one. Interesting the agreed money hasn't been released yet. Makes me think Reggie isn't splashing the cash around- pulling out a one year 'prove it' deal.

With the Carr contract looming large it's no great surprise that Reggie is being a bit tight. One suggestion doing the rounds is that the front office is waiting until tbe relocation business is sorted before Carr gets paid, which makes some sense.

Guess we'll have to wait for the committee vote on the 26th. At this point, seems like a done deal though.

AL would've given Patterson $50m over 5 years with $20m guaranteed.

As it goes, he's dealt for $5m guaranteed over one year, and 'Patterson' gets the void option after one year. Seems expensive for a KR/PR. We'll have to see if he comes through as a potential slot receiver with DC.....

#3 receiver, kick returner, possibly taking Andre Holmes/Taiwan Jones role as special teams gunner too.

Agree. Primary role kick returner gving better field position, then #3 wide receiver opening up Amari in the slot maybe...
