But it's a much smaller city and generally when Americans say Kansas City it's clear which one they are talking about, which is the Missouri one that the team (and all the other KC sports teams) are from.
Except for Sporting Kansas City

Someone hasn't ever watched Wizard of Oz then

I was a bit confused the first time I discovered that there was a Kansas City in Missouri, not just Kansas. The explanation comes from the fact that like many places in the US, it was named after a Native American word (the actual name of a tribe in this case), and formed in Missouri before Kansas itself was even a state. When Kansas state was formed, they created their own Kansas City to piggyback off the growing status of the Missouri town. And then tried to annex the Missouri town, but failed.

It's a bit pedantic but why does mark always say 'the nfl show sat at 5 past midnight ' I never totally know if it's on sat night early Sunday morning or Friday night early sat morning....!

Another brilliant show this weeek. I thoroughly enjoy the program because Mark, Osi and Jason are very strong as a team. They are interesting, knowledgeable and make the sport FUN.
More please
