Default Train Tickets for Colts/Jags

Hi all,

couldn't see this elsewhere but the train ticket window is open for the 1st/2nd/3rd October. Just got mine for Colts/Jags, 4 of us for £51 (with a railcard), going down from Crewe Saturday, home after the game Sunday.

Fill your boots!

Just sorted mine! £44 return from Manchester! About as cheap as I can get them!
Making a weekend of it again, Friday to Monday! Can't wait!

Shows what a rip off travel from the south west is, £67.50 return from Plymouth.

Couldn't agree more. Every year I read these threads with envy about how cheaply people travel to London for these games. GWR? Great Wedge Required!

I've started buying train tickets for the Rams giants game. Can get the outbound advance, but not the return for another couple of days. £14 one way from Rotherham to Kings cross via Doncaster. Not too shabby. Expecting a similar price for the return.

Guess that's the problem with only one line in and out of the region.

£44 return Manchester to Euston for the Rams game booked and £48.50 for 2 nights in a travelodge. Slightly more expensive than last year but still can't complain.
