As soon as I heard we were involved in a trade (got a text off a mate) knew it was going to be for a OT. Coaches thoughts on the O-Line and particularly McKinnie were extremely negative (and rightly so).

Good to see Oz not being afraid to go out and get his guy even mid-season, maybe we can finally establish a run game (imagine that) and give Joe some time.

Is Monroe a strong run or pass blocker or fairly balanced?

Balanced, leaning more toward pass blocking. He will do well for you, good locker room guy and I wish him well.

Having said that, MJD always got more yards running to the left side, so you'll be good either way.

Sods law for the Jags that Joeckel broke his ankle, looks like the Ravens pulled the trigger at exactly the right time...especially considering McKinnie's performance yesterday

Yep, very lucky for us. No way would they have traded Monroe if they'd known Joeckel would go down. McKinnie looked horrible yesterday. He really doesn't seem to give a damn.

I think that's what grates the most, the fact that he looks lethargic and has a poor attitude. By all accounts Monroe is the complete opposite so hopefully this move will swing the O-line back to the form shown late last season.

Said he's ready to go vs Packers, lets hope Harbs agrees and we can get McKinnie on that bench (or better yet, inactive).
