I'm headed over to Dallas to watch the Texas Rangers play in September but will be taking in Cowboys v Rams whilst there too. Been before and loved it. Trip can be done affordable, flights are £600ish and any of the chain hotels are well priced too. These companies trying to flog you the trip for £1000+ are a con. You'll find much better deals on your computer.

I couldn't of put it better myself. Don't go with these sports tour type companies, they are indeed a con. Been several times myself, just look online direct through the hotel site etc. What sounds quite daunting to begin with is a doddle when you've done it once before

Hi, I'm travelling america doing route 66 and getting an internal flight from alberquque(spelling) to dallas to watch the opening game of the season v the giants. Could someone tell which airport is closer in dallas and if they knew of any moderately priced accomodation in dallas.

would be grateful for any help.
Thanks

Hi, closest Airport to Arlington is Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, as for hotels, the closer to the stadium, the more expensive. You're looking at around $100-200 per night per room...

When going to a Cowboys game try and go to the nearby, Saltgrass Steakhouse.
Across the road from the Hilton Garden Inn Dallas / Arlington.
A nice standard hotel
but this restaurant makes it all the more sweet!

For those who've been asking, DFW airport is much closer to Dallas Cowboys Stadium than Dallas Love Field.

As a Bears fan, I can say it is a very impressive stadium, well worth a visit. the fact you can walk on the field during the tour & meet the Cheerleaders on the field makes it even better!!

I'm also thinking New york would be the best bet to watch the Cowboys. Flights/costs are alot more manageable. How easy do you think the tickets would be to acquire?
