If you're going to use that sort of limited argument, you could say that Dan Marino was better than Joe Montana because his name comes before Montana's in an alphabetical list.

No one says it is just rings, but it should be the swing factor if two players are close. You don't play to just play, you play to win

To be honest, take the emotion out of it, and forget that it's Bradshaw sounding off, and in relative terms the notion is right based on facts - regular season Manning is a God, post-season he isn't. Although the man has a ring and it's a team sport. You could dilute it to stats per season, but it's all opinion.

Losing to a stacked, hard, unforgiving Seattle team would not be my first choice of a QB not 'getting it done'.
