I'm guessing they'll still owe compensation to Wednesday if he signs with Newcastle???

conflicting reports that he had a rolling 1 year deal with only a £1m compensation but the papers over the weekend where hinting at a much bigger pay-out been asked by Wednesday.

oh poor Arsenal fans lashing out at Kroenke as if they can do anything about his "running" of the club.

Maguire has told Leicester he wants to leave but City wont pay top price and United also don't seem to want to pay £80m+.

I really think this is all just for show. I think Leicester have known for a while that Maguire wants his move, but they've tried to keep it under wraps whilst they get their other business done. Ayoze Perez and Youri Tielemans cost £70m+ for starters.

They know teams will up the price once Leicester have even more cash to spend.

Kieran Trippier apparently close to signing with Atletico Madrid for what seems an absolute bargain £20m, while Premier League clubs throw Monopoly money around.

In terms of what the PL throws around, maybe.

He isn't a world beater though. He has his ups and downs as a defender, and lately it seems like he cant stay healthy. Every other game it seems as though he's hobbling off with a groin injury.

You have to wonder too, why are Spurs willing to off load a soon to be 29 year old England RB? Especially for a smidge over £20m?

From Trippier's point of view, it's certainly an interesting move. It'll be interesting to see how he fares in Spain.

your right its very surprising that no premier league team would be asking about a guy who only last summer was starting in the world cup for a bargain price but looks like Madrid got a good deal and Spurs a quick sale.guessing we have targets we want and need to create some space with Rose been left at home to work on a possible move away as well.

Newcastle fans been very hard to please these days, you pay £4m for a manager and they just start moaning before he even officially takes charge.
