Spain v USA is the following Saturday 16th at 3.15pm UK time. Lets hope the BBC gives it the coverage it deserves. The men's 100m final is at 3.30pm that day so we might get the 2nd half live.

Looking forward to watching the basketball and it would be a shame if the U.S.A didn't win it, it would be an upset. They have a dream team even if it isn't as good as in previous years, *cough* 1992 *cough*

I wouldn't bank on the BBC showing much of the Basketball competition live, the USA matches might get shown on the red button but the BBC's attitude to other "niche" sports is appalling. The only reason they get involved with the NFL is because they have realised the opportunity to boost viewing figures.

I hope i'm wrong but you'll find the football tournament takes up most of the Interactive coverage, then things like archery, judo and others that the BBC consider "traditional" Olympic sports will be shown too.

its a bit of a minefield topic at the moment! Five I believe are still to do their 1 game a week next season, however ESPN (who own NASN) have signed a contract to have the rights to international broadcasts of the NBA......which in theory could mean that NASN will be screening games from next season.

But no announcement has been made from either party

Wish the NBA office in London would try and work on getting proper TV coverage rather then playing exhibition games over here tbh

In unrelated news looks like Ben Gordon took the QO from the Bulls and will try to cash in as an UFA next year.

He turned down a 5 year, $50M extension two years ago. And the he turned down a 6 year, $58M deal this summer. Just a typical example of his agent filling his head with how good he is when in reality Gordon is an average SG
