I think that Jennings was a little underrated coming into the current NBA season. He had become a curiousity because of age and his ppg at a high school that played some of the best teams. I would like to know how a player can have such low Euroleague averages per game and play very well in NBA games.

I don't really follow NBA, but I was on the ESPN UK website and couldn't help but notice that the Cavaliers were featured in 7 of the 17 games that have been aired/scheduled so far.

I could imagine if this was NFL, the TV coverage forum would be going wild. Is this something that is kicking off in NBA circles in this country? Or are folk just pleased to get extended looks at LeBron.

I assume this is out of ESPN UK's hands - presumably they are just taking feeds from ESPN in the US - or are they using any other networks?

It is out of ESPN UK's they show a game of the scheduled double header that
ESPN in the U.S show, This tends to be the early game on the East Coast and
the Cavs are the popular choice on the East Coast, I suscribe to League Pass
so I am not affected but if I didnt I would be a bit disapointed at the amount
of lopsided games they are showing at moment although they did get a upset
on friday when Atlanta went to Boston and won.

The thing that must be known is that there are four networks in the USA that show NBA games. TNT shows two thursday games, the all-star game and a conference final. This is a drama oriented network. NBATV shows games when they want and are all basketball. ABC shows sunday games. ESPN shows two wednesday and two friday games. Disney owns both networks. The reason why the Cavaliers are shown often is because ESPN is a sports network. ESPN concentrates its attention on individual atheletes rather than teams. The network tries to market to new sports fans.

I've never been that bothered about the NBA until tonight!

I switched on ESPN and it had a rerun of Miami Heat vs Orlando Magic, from last night I think it was.

What a feckin' ending. Miami Heat taking it within the last few seconds and a guy called Dwayne Ward looked superb - even to me and I know feck all about basketball.

I think I'll look out for them in the future.

"a guy called Dwayne Ward"

Sorry, found it funny on both the mis spelling of his surname and "a guy called" when hes in the Top 3 players in the sport!

(not having a go, just a chuckle )

Wade, apologies.

I hadn't heard of him until last night but I know all about him now!
