Arsenal will be a force this year def! Games they struggled in last year they are winning so things look good! ( fulham not counted lol) Great 2 watch always.
Everyone was saying that at this stage in the season last year!
They were a force last year though...
Until they folded half way through the season. I can see it being the same this season if I'm perfectly honest.

On another note, great win for the Villa yesterday!!!! Good away game on a personal note too, the Albion fans were great after the game.

Plenty of Villa fans on here which is good to see

Another win and we've hit the dizzying heights of 4th. Who knows if we can keep it there but its a decent start nonetheless. Agbonlahor and Carew both scoring hope they can keep it going.

I watched the City/Portsmouth game on Football First this morning and I had to laugh. Ive never seen a commentator dump on a 6-0 win before. Saying Dunnes goal was lucky from an awful corner (the corner was a clear shot, you could see he was trying something cheeky) and how showboating would blow up in front of them and that Pompey could take one back and change the game at 2-0.

Robinho/Elano/Jo/SWP/Petrov will be a frightening lineup for many teams this season when Petrov returns.

Wayne Rooney starting over Carlos Tevez is a complete joke.
Starting either Rooney or Berbatov over Tevez is a joke. I'm surprised Ferguson hasn't hauled off Berbatov the way he's played in his first two games, he just stands up front doing a teapot stance or with his arms in the air.

Man Utd need to figure out what they're going to do with Wayne Rooney. At this point, i'd suggest they play him on the wing. He's not as 'effective', but then again he's not been very 'effective' as a striker for a long, long time.

Rooney is United biggest conundrum!!
Tevez has clearly been the best United player at the start of the season, however he simply is not as creative as Rooney.
Rooney's passing and through balls are superior to Tevez, but the bottom line is Rooney aint playing well at the moment.

I thought Wayne had a strong game on Sunday. He's getting a bit more opportunity to play down the middle. And it is paying off with improved performance (including the last England game).

But he is becoming one of these non-scoring centre forwards, and they are incredibly hard to justify keeping in the team, no matter how hard they work and how earnest and keen they are keen to play no matter where it is.

I think it will help with the return of Ronaldo, as one of the biggest problems at the start of the year for us has been the lack of pace and ability out wide.
We've not stretched teams out at all, they've been happy to let Fletcher/Park/Possebon or whoever else get on with it and focused on stopping Wazza. Maybe now with Giggs, Ronaldo & Nani all back in the fray Rooney may get a little more space to work with!

With Ronaldo back it will give teams something else to think about. Ronaldo has pace, skill and a great shot. I know it is an obvious point to make but with Ronaldo playing the opposition will have to mark him with two players to stop him causing too much damage. That will always leave space open for someone else to exploit. Just put Ronaldo into my fantasy side today
