Loadholt is a big loss to the run game. Hate to say it but with 6 potential WR's on the squad id consider Cordarelle for a trade with an OL help elsewhere. Either that or Chase Ford.

Sad news for Phil.

I am all for 'next man up' - let's see what we have at the moment.

Well that was an interesting experience. Lot's of good things and several bad things on Saturday night.

Highlight: Teddy's TD pass; Mauti's sack
Low light: Lightning and Walsh's 4 missed kicks

I see we have gone younger on long snapper.

The Long Snapper has obviously taken the blame for Walsh's terrible night.

Hard to judge these things as one that sticks out was Dolphins game for Loeffler, but he was ranked as the worst LS in the league by Pro Football Focus last year so his time was probably up.

Hopefully Jeff Locke has a better season with his old college room mate

Vikes cut Babs.....that leaves them with no back up tackle?? Kalil had a poor season last and a rookie in as RT......what do you think?

I think that is why they traded for Jeremiah Sirles.

I also think that the practice squad will have some familiar names.

Babs is terrible, even with him there there was no back up tackle as he just wasn't up to it.

If anything happens to Kalil we are in trouble, but that's not dissimilar to most teams at LT. Mike Harris was swing tackle last year and can be again if necessary.

Saw this on MMQB
Factoid of the Week That May Interest Only Me

One year ago today the Minnesota Vikings played New England in Minneapolis. The contrast in offensive lineup could hardly be more stark. Compare the Vikings, one year apart, with the starting offensive players—or number one guys at their position on the depth chart—a year ago today, and tonight at the 49ers:

Sept. 14 lineup of starters who will touch the ball:
2014 (vs. New England) 2015 (at San Francisco, probable)
WR Cordarrelle Patterson Charles Johnson
WR Greg Jennings Mike Wallace
TE Kyle Rudolph Kyle Rudolph
C John Sullivan Joe Berger
QB Matt Cassell Teddy Bridgewater
RB Matt Asiata Adrian Peterson
FB Jerome Felton Zach Line

Wow, amazing when you look back at how far we have come
