I'm not sure tbh, the Panthers are a whole different prospect to the Niners. McCown was pleasantly surprising but I will remain unconvinced until he is consistant against decent teams.

On the plus side... thank goodness for Neil Rackers!

too right about Rackers - about time he got some love - should have been porbowl last year too!

Im hopeing the cards will get a 7-9 record this year, i mean it will be one more game won than last year so that would mean were improving.

What record do you think we will finish with.

I was hoping for at least 8-8, at the moment I think thinking maybe 6-10. We're only going to win games if we sort out the o-line and our redzone offense.

when i return i expect 3 weeks of post about the cards being back to 4-4 and being the turn around team in the NFL

I notice the cardinal has a much meaner look this year. I like to have been at that meeting:

"Why do we suck every year?"
"It's our helmets with a friendly little bird on it. How can we play smash mouth with that thing? Other teams have pirates, rampant lions, men with 3 cornered hats!"
"Ok, your right. Get a design team in and have them draw up a mean cardinal.
