Default Best Monday Night game EVER?

Hi all,

I've just found on YouTube the game from 23rd October 2000, which was the Jets vs Dolphins.

I've never seen a game before this, so it was the first game ever for me.

Bloody hell - this was the best sporting event I've ever seen! Dolphins dominated The first 3 quarters, and the Jets came back to even the score to 37-37 and force extra time only for the Jets to win in extra time.

Are there any games as good that people can recommend?

I've got to say I had chose Dolphins by default as my team before due to me seeing Ace Ventura as a kid - now, I'm not so sure at all!

I've managed to find some that go back to the 70's along with college games from the 60's so I way go back in time...there was a great Dick Butkus vid on there too.

Monday Night Miracle - it was a great comeback (and because of it) I still remember where I was watching it but it wasn't very well played and I didn't pay much attention until the 4th quarter because it was pretty boring until the comeback.

This was a great game - it featured the greatest offense of all time and arguably the greatest team of all time...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vt6VnBjmAJ0

This was a great game too because you couldn't believe what you were seeing - it featured arguably the greatest defense of all time getting smoked by arguably the greatest pure passer of all time. The previous two weeks the Bears had shut out their opponents looking to go undefeated...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_m0SzNtY9WI

This is probably the best:

Montana vs. Elway..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hloZRzozEIc

A traded away Joe Montana on his last legs in one final display of his sublime greatness...

"In one of the greatest exhibitions of gunslinging quarterbacks, Joe Montana and John Elway battled back-and-forth all night at Mile High. The game was tied after one quarter. The game was tied at the half. The game was tied after three quarters. Then, with 4:08 to go, Lin Elliott kicked a 19-yard field goal to give the Chiefs a 24-21 lead. Elway brought the Broncos back, and finished off the drive with a 4-yard TD run with 1:29 to go. Montana responded again, this time hitting Willie Davis for a 5-yard touchdown with eight seconds to go to give the Chiefs the win."

In my short time as an NFL follower these are two of my favourite MNF games as a neutral

Bears vs Vikings - week 16 2009

Dolphins vs Jets - week 5 2009

Ah a neutral like me, it's difficult to pick a team after seeing some great displays. So far I've got the Dolphins on my shortlist along with the Jets - I've got the idea of watching new games with different teams all the time so I can get a varied feel.

Miami 0-3 Pittsburgh

I am joking, but actually I did really enjoy that game, especially the punt getting stuck in the mud. And listening to the ESPN crew going mental as it stayed low-scoring was also quite funny and, I thought, summed up the difference in mentality between Americans and Europeans perfectly.

A number of these games were shown on ESPN before last season began... So watch out again this June / July...

They did the top 10 from the ESPN era (2006-now) of MNF in summer 2010 with the 11th week of the run being week 1 of the season.
