My initial report I read stated 18 over three... But that would prob put him on food stamps thinking about it lol

Have the numbers for this deal been released yet?

Comparing it to the Flacco/Stafford deals will be fascinating.

Another thought on this - if this was me, I'd say to the FO "yes, I'll sign up, but if you guarantee me you'll do your very best to sign the top FA's on the market, I'll sign for less".

He may well have said this, he has in my opinion already taken a hometown discount on this deal. I firmly believe cutler could have gotten a better deal elsewhere

I loved Cutlers news conference

I have enough money, I'm here to win championships!

Cutty also training in Florida with Marshall Jeffery Bennett is going to be awesome also!

Cutler certainly would have gotten more in FA, but then so would Flacco, Stafford (even Romo)...

Great move by the Bears, these days people seem to think if your QB isn't as good as Rodgers, Brady etc then they should be looking to upgrade, guys like that are rare and above average QBs like Cutler are still rare and shouldn't be taken for granted. Teams that are constantly changing QBs are constantly failing to make the playoffs and pick in the top 10 year after year. Glad Bears made this move, set at offence and can focus on that horrible D, if successful, I reckon they could easily be in the NFCCC next season.

Congrats Packers - youve just guaranteed winning the north for at least 6 of the 7 years
