Default Stevie Johnson traded to the Niners

For a 4th rounder which could rise to a 3rd

As soon as Buffalo drafted yesterday I thought Johnson might be on trading block and I thought we would be the perfect fit needs wise.

Happy with this

Yeah I'm stoked. Wasn't convinced with anyone in this receiver class outside of Watkins and Cooks. Johnson is an average physical talent with great mental attributes.

Drafted 12 rookies, including 5 in the first 3 rounds. Plenty of young blood on the 49ers team.

Crabtree and Johnson, for example, are not veterans. Crabs is 26, Stevie J is 27. Hardly close to their pension. Kaep is a young man. Lattimore too. Plus the rookies and it's a fair balance in SF.

Where does Boldin fit in their plans? Seems to be getting crowded with the 9ers receivers.

Plenty of space. Passing league and spread offence didn't do Denver any harm.

He is coming to Cleveland, we are going to be trading for a wideout pretty soon unless we find a gem in UFA

Surely Crabtree and Johnson will be the outside receivers, I'd be surprised to see Boldin settle for a bit part.

At his age, with Davis in there too, Boldin will be the guy drawing coverage leaving doors open and making veteran catches, drawing it all together as the 9ers go all the way.
