In a bigger stadium, of course.

All relative. You can knock Sunderland for plenty but support you cannot.

7th best in Prem. Around 30th overall in Europe I believe. This despite not winning a trophy since 73, playing most of the football since then in the second tier plus one season in the third tier, breaking the lowest points total in the Premier League twice in a matter of 4 seasons, playing 1 European tie in its history and location wise, Sunderland is one of the most deprived cities in the UK.

Yet 40,000 turn up and support the team week in, week out.

Also should be noted that Sunderland managed 0.95 points per game at home last season and still finished with a very good attendance figure

Not knocking them, but your comparison was unfair.

Chelsea and Liverpool would have higher attendances if they had bigger stadiums. Sunderland would not.

Sunderland would have higher attendances if someone had just blown half a billion pounds on purchases and wages over the last 10 years or they were one of the most successful clubs of all time.

He's a good signing for them if that's correct.

We (Chelsea) filled the ground regularly way before Roman came along.

And you were everyone's second favourite club, outside of fans of your rivals of course
